How to Become a Writer Today
You've probably heard the old saying that if you want to be a writer, you need to start writing.
Now that may sound like obvious (and very unnecessary) advice, but the truth is that most people who say they are a writer, or want to be a writer, never actually sit down and do any writing.
Why is this?
Well, it's usually because they don't know where to begin or how to start.
So if you want to be a writer, where do you begin?
You need to know what kind of writer you want to be, and in the world of writing, there are many different types of writers.
Some are copy writers, some are article writers, some are ghost writers, some are authors and some are freelance writers. In fact that is just a small portion of the types of writers there are.
But if you want to be a writer and you don't know where to start then you need to think about getting some help.
I too was faced with the same dilemma several years ago. I wanted to be a writer but was only writing part-time by sending articles and short stories to magazines.
And I was having quite a bit of success at getting my work published. But I was running out of ideas of what to write about and places to submit my work too.
So I bought a course called Quick Cash Writing and started working on it straight away.
The best thing about doing this course was that I no longer had to think for myself about what I should write, how I should write or where I should send it because this writing course led me all the way through from ideas, to writing and then to submitting my work to the right places. I was amazed at how easy it led me in to being a writer.
It was a good course for because it started of easily with smaller writing projects such as readers' letters in magazines and jokes, etc.
The course was quite detailed and even went into other areas of freelance writing that I'd never considered before such as writing greeting card verse and crossword clues.
And then it went into longer types of freelance writing such as fiction, copy writing and articles.
What I did like was that all the way through it had plenty of information about finding markets for my work.
So after a few weeks I was earning so much money that I gave up my job and became a full time writer, because once I'd had a taste of what a great way it was to earn a living, I was hooked and I knew that I didn't want to do anything else.
Since then I've also branched out into running my own web sites and writing books.
But I still keep returning time and time again to the Quick Cash Writing course that started me on the road to my career as a full time writer.
If you're looking to become a freelance writer but you don't know where to start, you can begin by looking at the same course that launched my writing success.
